What’s the Network?
Dec. 15th, 2018 10:39 pmThe Network is the organizations started by Jon and Aither that has absorbed other companies, organizations, and gangs into their numbers. It is made up of four different parts.
Part 1: The Connections – those who work for Jon for the most part, occasionally people that he has various social and business connections with from various reasons. Some work for his actual businesses, others work directly for him. Many of the Balakhnov Staff started off as members of the Connections. Primarily focused in Europe and Asia.

Part 2: The Found – those who work directly for Aither or she has alliances with where she can call on them if there is a situation. A great many of them found themselves within the Network, were saved by someone within the Network which led to them joining it, and a few who were given the choice to join or die. Primarily focused in the Americas.
Part 3: The Marko Company – those who used to belong to the Marko Crime Syndicate or were hired in as mercenaries after it was converted over. A great many of them are ex military or those who wanted to be military and couldn’t for some reason. It is run rather strictly, though an outsider might not see it at first.
Part 4: The Drifters – those who can be called on by the other three parts and do a lot of traveling because of it. They get a base pay and benefits, plus bonus pay for whatever work they are called on to do. A lot of the Floaters are people who skirt the law in some manner.
There are a few rules that apply to all of the Network parts:
- No mind-altering drugs that are not health related.
- No hazing or assaulting of members.
- No attacking others. This rule has some of the strictest punishments, and is enforced with a brutalness that some would consider cruel.
- If an alcoholic or have a substance abuse problem you must receive treatment from one of the Network medical professionals.
That’s it. You’d think those would be simple rules, but a lot of new people find out it’s not as easy as it seems. Otherwise rules go by which section of the Network you are in and what business you may work for.
